The IRS says it is OK to relese tax returns ven if audits. Of course Tweety's attorneys, paid by Tweety, advise him against releasing his tax returns. The attorneys who say Tweety should not release his tax returns are HIS EMPLOYEES!
"Trump broke with four decades of precedent by refusing to release his tax returns after becoming the GOP presidential nominee. He cited an ongoing IRS audit, though the agency has said taxpayers are free to release their information at any time.“Disclosure would serve the public interest of clarifying President Trump's conflicts of interest in office, the potential for him to personally benefit from tax reform, and ensure that he is not receiving any preferential treatment from the IRS,” the letter states."
Of course Republican ideologues seem to not care whether Americans have a right to trust Tweety and find arguments, weak ones at that, to prevent America getting to Tweety's tax returns.

Of course Tweety thinks someone paid the people asking for his tax returns. Tweety is a huckster, a snake oil salesman who cannot afford to show America his tax returns.
