"Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has been named Time magazine's Person of the Year for 2019, NBC's Today show announced on Wednesday.

Thunberg, who turns 17 in January and who is known for her blunt, straightforward addresses to world leaders, has urged immediate action to address what she describes as the global climate crisis."

"Trump's latest attack on Greta Thunberg was sexist, ableist – and perhaps jealous"

As the first lady campaigns against bullying, her husband targets a 16-year-old

"On Thursday, after the 16-year-old environmental activist Greta Thunberg was crowned Time Magazine’s Person of the Year, Donald Trump tweeted in less than encouraging terms. He said it was “so ridiculous” and said Thunberg, a teenager who has an autism spectrum diagnosis, needed to work on her “anger management problem”. Sexism and ableism all rolled into one – and who said men couldn’t multi-task?

"The Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of a bully is: a blustering, browbeating person, especially: one who is habitually cruel, insulting, or threatening to others who are weaker, smaller, or in some way vulnerable.

Perhaps it’s just jealousy: Thunberg, while still a minor, has earned herself a Time cover – something Trump and at least one of his recruits have only managed to achieve through faking.

Whatever you might call it, Melania Trump’s initiative as first lady is the anti-bullying campaign “Be Best”. The White House website for the initiative states: “Mrs Trump believes that children should be both seen and heard, and it is our responsibility as adults to educate and reinforce to them that when they are using their voices – whether verbally or online – they must choose their words wisely and speak with respect and compassion.[Melania should link visitors to Greta's twitter account from the #BEBEST site and the web anti-bullying web site.  Great is an excellent example of a young, passionate, bullied teen speaking respectfully and wisely.  Sadly, Melania cannot put her husband up for either word.  Truly Sad.]

We have contacted the Be Best team for comment about Trump’s treatment of Thunberg. It is yet to respond."

Ha!  This is truly funny!  Melania has not responded yet to Great despite her stated mission.  Melania must think Greta is being disrespectful and unwise, anything to give her husband a pass to bully the 16 yo girl.  No doubt she'd say he has a right to defend himself.

"Thunberg responded by quoting Trump in her Twitter bio as a badge of honor. Similarly, when President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil referred to Thunberg as a brat, she updated her bio to read “Pirralha” – the Portuguese word for brat. Today Thunberg changed it again to read: “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”"

Thunberg is strong!  Stronger than her adult critics.

Here's Melania's #BEBEST response.  OMG Melania endorses bullying!

"Melania Trump Thinks Greta Thunberg Had POTUS Attack Coming"
Apparently speaking out against climate change means the 16 year-old should expect to be mocked by world leaders.

By Bess Levin   December 13, 2019

"Earlier this week, Donald Trump, who is very busy and important, took some time out of his schedule to attack a 16-year-old girl. Responding to the news that Swedish activist Greta Thunberg had been named Time magazine’s person of the year, the president, like the bridge troll he is, took to Twitter and ranted: “So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

While the notion of Trump going after someone on Twitter is nothing new—in the past he has slandered everyone from NFL players to the cast of Morning Joe to Bette Midler to Saturday Night Live—some people noted the irony of the attack given that Melania Trump recently went off the deep end after a legal scholar referenced Barron Trump in passing to make a point about the power of the presidency. Also, y’know, her alleged campaign against online bullying, the uniquely named “Be Best.” Does FLOTUS still care about the issue? Would she take to her account to admonish her husband? According to a statement from her press secretary, not exactly!

"Melania Trump Thinks It’s Fine For Her Husband to Bully a 16-Year-Old"
Maggie Serota // December 13, 2019

https://www.spin.com/2019/12/melania-trump-greta-thunberg-tweet/

"First lady and anti-bullying advocate Melania Trump apparently thinks it’s fine for her husband, the leader of the free world, to bully 16-year-old climate change activist Greta Thunberg. When asked by reporters how she squares her anti-bullying initiative Be Best with President Donald Trump’s tweet telling the teen to “work on her Anger Management problem,” the first lady seemed unbothered by her husband’s behavior."

"The first lady can split hairs all she wants, but it’s clear that the only child she wants to protect from bullying is her own."

Melania, you are a hypocrite and a liar.  It is a sick, sad move to say you fight something you are not fighting.  You are not a good person.

"In other words, people who mention Barron’s name in passing should be “ashamed” of themselves because he’s a minor, but because Thunberg has chosen to speak up re: climate change she is fair game and should not expect a minimum level of decorum from the president of the United States."

Sleep well tonight Melania, you've got no conscience, no soul, no empath, so it should be easy.

Ya, I understand you are married to the bully, Tweety Trump, Melania.  I recognize and always knew you could not fight bullies.  You really do not care about bullying, immigrant kids in cages, or anyone your husband tramples.  I was not surprised at all that you say Greta, a 16yo girl, should expect an attack for her climate change wishes.

What fun you are Melania, being as sordid and corrupt as your hubby.

"Trump Mocks Greta Thunberg on Twitter, and She Jabs Back"
The 16-year-old climate activist changed her Twitter biography to read, “a teenager working on her anger management problem,” after the president tossed that accusation at her.

Does our President do any substantive work?  He makes time to "Mean Girl" a 16 year old girl folks!  It is sick!

The immoral bully who is our President is jealous!  He is not a Christian man by any stretch.!  What a dork!

"Pastors, worship leaders pray for Trump in Oval Office amid impeachment fight"  [Why?  The religious people must think they can fix Tweety Trump, or they are as bad as Tweety Trump, i.e., immoral and unethical.]

By Caleb Parke | Fox News    11 Dec 2019

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pastors-worship-leaders-pray-for-trump-in-oval-office-amid-impeachment-fight

"Prominent Christian pastors and worship leaders prayed over President Trump in the Oval Office last week, as he told them he needs prayer now more than ever amid the intensifying impeachment probe on Capitol Hill.

About 50 worship leaders from across America gathered for a faith briefing Friday organized by Paula White-Cain, the president's personal pastor and special adviser to the Faith and Opportunity Initiative in the White House."

They all want something from Tweety, or they already got it.  This is "transactional religion" at it most obvious scenario.  Look at the crap they say.

"

Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes, worship leaders from Nashville, also shared a message about how encouraged they were by the briefing and prayer.

"The thing that moved me the most was just how everyone is so for making sure we're changing people's lives and not leaving those that are marginalized and those that have been trafficked...they're working to end these things and change these things," Jobe shared. "I've just been in tears all day....God is moving!""

Did any of these "Christians" have the courage to ask Tweety Trump why he separates immigrant families at the border, imprison them for an illegally long term, caging the kids left behind when the parents are deported, why he pardons war criminals while allowing ICE to deport USA Iraq and Afghanistan war Veterans who get in trouble with the law, or wonder why he justified taking away much needed food supplements from poor people who cannot find jobs, and on and on for human rights?  POLITICAL OPPORTUNISTS!

""Nancy Pelosi says that she prays for me, but she doesn't tell anyone what she prays for," he said. "But I know you guys have come to pray for me and I know you care about what's happening in this administration."

Feucht said: "I shook his hand and said 'Mr. President, I'm from California and I just want to let you know there's people out in California that support you.""

Once asked if he had anything to apologize for or ask forgiveness for, Tweety Trump said, "No, I've never done anything wrong."  Tweety thinks cheating on his wives, molesting and assaulting women, and telling over 4,000 lies as President is OK, so these pseudo "religious" people must be OK with his behaviors too.  These aren't my idea of religious people.  These people are political opportunists at best.

Are the Tweety Fat Bastard Trump supporters OK with this Mean Girl side of Tweety Fat Bastard Trump?  Is it good for you Kellyanne?  Kellyanne, I think you have daughters, so do you get this?  Do you know any 16 year old girls, and do you thnk it is OK to bully them, to "Mean Girl" them like your boss does?

What makes any bullying OK?  Where's Melania's "Be Best" now?  I want to puke!

"The most depressing thing about Trump’s attack on Greta Thunberg"

By Karen Tumulty   Columnist covering national politics  Dec 12, 2019 at 10:53 AM

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/12/12/jealous-trump-attacks-year-old-girl-his-base-loves-it/?utm_campaign=post_most&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=Newsletter&wpisrc=nl_most&wpmm=1

I want to puke when I see how Mean Girl Tweety Fat Bastard Trump operates.  I can't believe the President of the united States of America stoops so incredibly low to take time out to insult and bully a 16 year old girl.

"Is there nothing too petty for this president?  [ABSOLUTELY NOT!]

Early Thursday morning, President Trump took to Twitter (where his current follower count is 67.5 million) to attack a 16-year-old girl with Asperger’s syndrome and tell her to “work on her Anger Management problem.”"

Ugh!  This is a "World Leader?"  Hell, he's not even an adult yet!  Tweety Trump is freaking pathological!

TWEETY IS PATHOLOGICALLY, MEAN GIRL JEALOUS!

"As always with Trump, when he accuses someone else of something, we get a window into what he himself is feeling. So it’s fair to ask: What did Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg do to make the projectionist-in-chief so hopping mad?

The answer: She was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.

Time covers are something of a fixation for this president. Back when he was a reality-TV star, he decorated the walls of at least five of his golf clubs with fake ones featuring his own face."

Melania's "Be Best" is not a real campaign to rid America of bullying, THAT is certain.

" . . . First lady Melania Trump — who, as it happens, has adopted anti-bullying as her cause — declared that Stanford law professor Pamela Karlan “should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.” Karlan subsequently apologized[Tweety Fat Bastard "Mean Girl" Trump has NEVER apologized for ANYTHING IN HIS LIFE, Melania.  You know this Melania, you live with the Orange Animal.]

No word yet as to how this latest setback to her [Melania's] #BeBest movement is going over with the enigmatic first lady. We may learn from her outerwear on her next public outing that, well, she really doesn’t care.

After all, this was not the first time Trump has mocked Thunberg for her demeanor. People with Asperger’s syndrome, sometimes described as a form of autism, often do not respond to social cues or express their emotions as others do."

Melania's #BEBEST is a twitter bust, and never really had her interest anyway.  It's not possible to live with Tweety trump and care about anyone being bullied.

"But the real question, as is so often the case where Trump is concerned, is why would the most powerful man in the world stoop to doing the things he does? One answer, at least judging by the reaction to his tweet on Thursday, is that his always-loyal base applauds him when he indulges his basest impulses. “Haha,” one of his supporters responded. “Trump is awesome. You have to love his sense of humor.” And that may be the most depressing thing of all.  [Ya'll are sick!]

Trump’s son, Donald Jr., was not wrong on Wednesday, when he described Time’s Person of the Year franchise as a “marketing gimmick.”"

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, with Jr. taking up the Mean Girl mantra easily.

Thunberg is more mature and kinder than either Trump Sr. or Jr. Mean Girls.

"In the age of Trump and Twitter, alas, that is a dangerous thing.

Shortly after Trump’s disgraceful tweet, Thunberg rewrote her Twitter bio. It now says: “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend."

Thank you, Greta. If only everyone were so mature."

Is Greta smarter than Tweety?  I think she is more mature.  Great is no "trolling" like Tweety does, but she is responding in a clever way.
