The Tweety Trump, "Fat Bastard,"  Mean Girl cult supporters/Base go after Congressional members who honor their Oat of Office to protect and abide by the Constitution of the United States.  It's mindless.

Tweety's "base-cult" jerks do not try to argue whether Tweety abused power or committed crimes, they don't care.  Crime is not an issue with Trump supporters.  They know he commits crime, lies, defrauds, and they seem to like it.

The Tweety base might think a man who ran as a "law and order" guy, who has AG Barr running down communities for reporting police violence, who openly abused women, cheated on wives, defrauded Vets and used funds form his "Charity" for personal purchases - a painting of himself?!  WoW!, or if Tweety using the power of the Presidency for person gain is wrong,

The Tweety Base live on Rally points to yell at anyone that is not stepping to the beat of Tweety's Pied Piper tune, enabling Trump's ambition to be a United States Monarch.

Talk/yelling points, that is all I hear from Tweety supporters.  The Base does not care!

"WATCH: Scuffles ensue as anti-impeachment protesters interrupt Schiff town hall"
by Ellie Bufkin  Decmber 15, 2019

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/watch-scuffles-as-anti-impeachment-protesters-interrupt-schiff-town-hall

"Protesters opposed to the impeachment of President Trump interrupted Rep. Adam Schiff while he was honoring the victims of the Armenian genocide during a town hall, which led to scuffles among attendees.

Shouts of "liar!" were directed at the California Democrat, who is chairman the House Intelligence Committee, during the Saturday night event. Protesters donning shirts supporting Trump held up signs that said, "Don't impeach," and began shouting at the congressman as he spoke at the Glendale Library in Glendale, California.

Many in the crowd shouted at the president's supporters to leave as they continued their disruption. When some attendees asked them to stop yelling, scuffles broke out throughout the room. After about 15 minutes, the chaos settled down. Three police officers helped deal with the incident and said no injuries were reported."

Schiff's presence was not about the impeachment, but why would we expect Tweety supporters to know that?

"The event on Saturday was meant as a "thank you" from the Armenian government for the passage of a resolution recognizing the genocide that took place over 100 years ago and claimed the lives of more than 1 million people. The resolution, co-sponsored by Schiff, confirms the United States's acknowledgment that the mass deaths were part of a genocide, something NATO ally Turkey has notably rejected."

"Democratic Rep. Slotkin faces rowdy town hall after announcing support for impeachment"
The vulnerable Michigan congresswoman was met with cheers and jeers as she explained her reasons to a divided district.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/trump-impeachment-inquiry/democratic-rep-slotkin-faces-rowdy-town-hall-after-announcing-support-n1102756

"“I want people to think about where we will be if it becomes normal to ask foreign governments to intervene in our political process,” Slotkin said in her remarks explaining the decision. “What if that becomes normal? What if next time we have a Democratic president asking the Chinese government for a cyber-attack, for something new, for some intrusion? For me this is something I cannot abide, that I cannot accept.”

She added that she is “deeply concerned” that anyone would believe it’s appropriate for the president to ask Ukrainians to investigate allegations of corruption involving U.S. citizens rather than U.S. federal law enforcement agencies. Trump supporters in the audience yelled “deep state” when she insisted that the FBI is equipped to handle any investigations the president wanted into former Vice President Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and alleged interference by Ukraine into the 2016 election."

Slotkin can defend her impeachment decision, but al the Tweety Base can do is shout rhetoric and meaningless BS.

"Tensions between the two sides boiled over at some points with several voices heard yelling “shut up” at each other. One Trump supporter told a Slotkin supporter that she “was a waste of breath.”

Slotkin voters held signs thanking her for “defending the Constitution” and Trump supporters donned “impeach Slotkin” signs."

Slotkin defends her decision, but Trump supporters, given ample opportunity, have nothing substantive to say.  They cannot say what Tweety did is acceptable.  Slotkin was too generous to the Trump Base - they were listening to refute, not to understand.

"Despite the divide on display in the room, Slotkin told reporters after the event she “appreciated” the spirit of the crowd.

“From my vantage point, standing up there, there is a room full of people with very different opinions,” she said, including “a lot of folks who had on their Trump hats, who clearly didn't agree with where I was. But what I appreciated about them is that they listened. They weren't shouting, they were waiting to hear my answers and that is the best I can ask for, is engaged citizens who came— who don't agree but were willing to give me a chance to explain myself.”"

"On obstruction of Congress, Slotkin says the president’s obstruction of the impeachment investigation was “unprecedented.”"

Well, maybe Nixon fought some, obstructed for a while, but he gave in, he capitulated, he had no choice.

"Michigan Democrat hears protests, cheers at town hall over impeachment support"

"Slotkin attempted to distance herself from her more left-leaning colleagues, pointing out that some of them came out in support of impeachment as soon as they were sworn in. She noted that she did not back an impeachment inquiry into Trump after former special counsel Robert Mueller testified on Russia's 2016 election interference, but said the Ukraine controversy is a different matter.

“I did not think the events of that, or the actions of that time, were worthy of an impeachment inquiry,” she said at the town hall, adding that at first she thought voters should decide Trump's fate at the ballot box next year.

“That changed for me on the very basic facts that the president of the United States came out, and his lawyer came out, and said very specifically that they had reached out to a foreign power and asked him for information on political rival,” Slotkin said.

“That’s a lie,” someone in the crowd yelled out."

NO, it is NOT a lie.  It is exactly what Tweety Trump said to the TV cameras.  Go watch TV.

This is what Tweety Trump supporters have to offer?  Saying what Tweety trump said he did he lied?  lol!  Do you see what I mean abut mindless?

Then there is the Fox coverage, and misrepresentation of the crowd.

"Dem rep from Trump district faces rowdy town hall, boos [Ah, but if you told all the story, you'd report there were much more cheers, Foxy News.  ; < )  Aren't we clever limiting the buline to "boos.] after backing impeachment"

By Ronn Blitzer  Fox "News"

"Slotkin addressed the allegations that Trump improperly withheld military aid from Ukraine while trying to pressure the country into helping with investigations of Democrats -- namely, former Vice President Joe Biden's role ousting a Ukrainian prosecutor who had been looking into the energy company where his son Hunter served on the board.

The congresswoman explained that she worked on the National Security Council under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, and that while “presidents regularly wield their power,” Trump’s actions were different because she believes he acted “for his own political gain,” not the national interest."  [Slotkin made a very important distinction between Presidents for anyone who wants to hear it, but Tweety Supporters do not listen, not really.']

Slotkin gets good coverage from Fox here.

"Slotkin also noted that when members of her party suggested impeaching the president prior to the Ukraine allegations, she believed that it was best left for voters to determine Trump’s fate in 2020. She explained that she feels differently now because the current controversy is itself connected to the upcoming election.

“I want people to think about where we will be if it becomes normal,” she warned.

When an audience-submitted question asked why it is a problem for the president to investigate possible corruption before handing over tax dollars to another country, Slotkin said that normally when an American is suspected of breaking the law, “we go to American law enforcement, American authorities.” She said Trump could have done just that.

“The president is the head of the executive branch, he could easily go to the FBI,” she said, and quickly addressed the implication of having Ukraine get involved instead.

“I’m sorry and deeply concerned that there are people who feel like they can trust the Ukrainians more than they trust the FBI,” she said. This statement came one week after Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a report detailing the FBI’s missteps in conducting surveillance during the Russia investigation."
