The elephant is not going away, it is not a "witch hunt," it is real, even true according to Tweety and his Jr.
I guess I did it during Obama's Presidency too; ignored bad stories about my choice for President, Obama. Maybe it is the right thing to do, or simply self-validation? I understand "Vote and Forget."
The difference is Tweety tweets. None of us can get away from the man for a day without tweets.
Not in a democracy, but if you win, it seems OK for "American Democracy" which favors the rich.
Example of news Tweety supporters will not read, or if they read OR see it on TV, they will not know if it is true. Tweety supporters preference will be to call Donald Trump Jr. a liar about his own mistake. lol It is amazing! Tweety has his supporters mesmerized!

Tweety's possible strategy, and tactics that seem to work as Americans still, to an extent, disbelieve the bad news on Tweety, is
1. create doubt abut whether the Russians hacked the election whatever way he can, by denying it, then, in same interview or speech, possibly within 30 seconds or less, agreeing it happened, but no one knows who else could be hacking the election;
2. do everything he can to show Russia as American friend, ally, or at least good country to deal with; by doing so, when the truth, details of the investigation on Russian hacking in the 2016 election are revealed in court, Russia seems OK and even trustworthy, and / or (possible al three will work to his benefit),
3. get someone, currently his son, to take the fall for the collusion part of the hacking by Russia.
Tweety supporters will say there is NO WAY Tweety's son would do what the news said, and what Donald Trump Jr. SAID and TWEETED. It is a conspiracy. It is a trick.

Trump Jr.s is young, and there is not way he will do any jail time. His dad, as President AND as super rich (OFTEN rich people's kids do not go to jail), can keep him out of jail no matter what happens, by a Presidential pardon or whatever.
No harm will come to Tweety if his son takes the fall.
