Jeff Sessions is nasty, a smart ass who thinks he knows stuff.

He is the United States Attorney General, and a big mistake at that.

He intentionally disrespected the State of Hawaii, a state for 58 years.  A nasty, ugly maybe racist gesture.  He might dislike brown people .  .  .  No surprise there.

Sessions obviously doesn't like the decision of a federal judge on Tweety's Executive Order banning Muslims.

So there we have it.  Does the United States of America have a chief law enforcement officer who picks which legal decisions he will enforce, what he will abide?  Will Sessions "cherry pick" the law to get what he and Tweety want?

Does America have a potential lawbreaker as a law enforcer?

Sessions is also confused choosing between sates rights he will support and states rights he wants to not enforce.  Medicaid is a state issue, but marijuana and sanctuary cities is a Federal matter to deal with based on his opinions.

Is Sessions aware of his hypocrisy?  Yep, for sure!  It doesn't matter to him.

"Jeff Sessions' 'States' Rights' Claims in Transgender Policy are Part of a Disturbing Tradition"
By Alex Kotch  |  March 2, 2017

https://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2017/03/jeff-sessions-states-rights-claims-in-transgender.html

"On Feb. 22, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that the Department of Justice and the Department of Education will not enforce Obama’s directive requiring schools to allow transgender students to use the restroom matching their gender identity. Sessions wrote, “Congress, state legislatures, and local governments are in the position to adopt appropriate policies or laws addressing this issue.”

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos echoed Sessions in her statement, saying that “this is an issue best solved at the state and local level.” In her recent Conservative Political Action Conference address, she said the federal guidance was “a very huge example of the Obama Administration’s overreach.”

The “states’ rights” argument has a long and sinister history, having been used by Confederates to justify keeping their slaves and by segregationists (including those in Sessions’ home state of Alabama) to keep their schools segregated."

Sessions believes in rights for people he likes and people he is comfortable with.  He is not comfortable with the GLBTQ community.

"Sessions doesn’t just discriminate against African Americans; he is an outspoken opponent of both legal and illegal immigration, and he even employed Stephen Miller, an architect of Donald Trump’s Muslim ban, before he joined the Trump campaign. And he has consistently opposed LGBTQ equality. So it’s no surprise that Sessions would revive the states’ rights argument to justify discrimination against transgender people, members of our society who face an uphill battle just to gain basic human rights."

Sessions has slave owner mentality, and his small stature makes him suspiciously "macho" against the poor, weaker and otherwise less fortunate people of America.

Sessions is not a good law officer.  Sessions is no an honest broker of truth and right.

Sessions comments are bad any way you look at his comment, 1) as disrespecting a state of 58 years of the United States, pretty bad, 2) lack of respect for the judge and the judiciary, heinous for an AG even as we acknowledge he serves in the Executive, and Tweety has no real respect for law and order, or 3) his comment was simply showing he is stupid, which is very scary to say the least.

"Jeff Sessions 'reminded' Hawaii is a state, and #AskTheresaMay criticises premier"
By Lamia Estatie BBC News, 21 April 2007

"Hawaiians aren't taking kindly to comments made by US Attorney General Jeff Sessions about their home state earlier this week.

"I really am amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the President of the United States from what appears to be clearly his statutory and Constitutional power," he said on The Mark Levin Show."

My god, the US Attorney General does not know how many states there are in the Unted States!

"Jeff Sessions doesn’t think a judge in Hawaii — a.k.a. ‘an island in the Pacific’ — should overrule Trump"

"Jeff Sessions knows Hawaii is a state. He just doesn’t care."
Sessions, the racist Keebler elf of Donald Trump’s administration, has two true loves: white nationalism and making cookies in his treehouse. Today he took some time out of his busy Fudge Stripes production schedule to issue a good old-fashioned dog whistle to the people of Hawaii . . . "

Insert quote of Sessions separating Hawaii from the United States.

In addition, this is a man who is support to be law abiding as the US Attorney General, but he wants to pick and choose the laws he will abide by.  Sounds like a scofflaw to me.

"Sessions is attempting to criticize Judge Derrick Watson, who recently blocked Donald Trump’s Muslim ban and is based in Hawaii. But it’s interesting that he chooses do so by attacking Hawaii itself—which is, of course, not just “some island in the Pacific.” It’s the most diverse state in the nation. It’s a state because we invaded it and staged a coup that overthrew its indigenous leadership. Sessions should love this story!

Donald Trump does not rule by fiat. He cannot snap his fingers and sprinkle racist pixie dust on the laws of the United States. Watson was well within his rights to block Trump’s executive order, and Sessions’s refusal to recognize his judicial authority is cause for real concern."
