Tweety, when the South tried to secede that made them traitors, not the good guys. Get it? No, I know, you do not get it.
I thought Tweety's preference was gold, not metal and stone and marble statues. Who knew he liked Confederate statues, and perhaps the Stars and Bars of the Confederacy.
"Trump mourns loss of ‘beautiful statues and monuments’ in wake of Charlottesville rally over Robert E. Lee statue"

Bannon has Tweety by the balls, no doubt! Or a leash? Good doggy, now bark at humans. Or is it a ring in Tweety's nose Bannon uses to lead Tweety to his impulsive, stupid tweet rants?
"Trump's chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, said in interviews this week that he relishes a fight with Democrats over cultural issues because it will allow the president to "crush" his rivals by focusing on the economy.
“The Democrats, the longer they talk about identity politics, I got ’em," Bannon told the American Prospect. "I want them to talk about racism every day. If the left is focused on race and identity, and we go with economic nationalism, we can crush the Democrats.”"

"A warning from George Orwell on the ‘monument wars’"

"
In the new Civil War, I’m with George — as in George Washington. It’s one thing to start dismantling monuments of Civil War generals. It would be another to go after the most famous founding father.
Washington’s name was raised Tuesday by President Trump. He wheeled on reporters and tried — yet again — to suggest an equivalence between the alt-right and alt-left at Charlottesville.
Trump was getting his head handed to him when he noted that there were people there “to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue.”"
I think Tweety is a stupid man, even if he is being clever to take over our democracy and destroy our values.

More.
"In it, one of Orwell’s characters warns of how “every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, every date has been altered.”
“And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute,” adds Orwell’s character. “History has stopped.”
Is that what we want?"
No, the statues and history of the Civil War and the South, as well as North, belong in museums. That is the solution. No way is hate welcome in this country, even tho we all know it exists in every nook and cranny of this country.
Hate is everywhere. The United States needs to do all it can, however, to keep hate out of civil society, keep it on the fringe.
