Tweety is too cagey for Merkel' she sees him for what he is.
His tweets, stated falsehoods (lies, actually), conspiracy mongering make my list of over 55 items long. Maybe his supporters can translate what is in his head and where he is going, but I cannot figure out what he is up to.
It is certainly not Presidential to be so befuddled, but no surprise a 70 year old man cannot hear over all the camera clicks, bustle and hustle of reports, and reporters asking for lots of poses including the handshake.
Then there is Tweety's effort, continuing, to distract the Congressoinal investigation of his Russia conatacs and influences during his Presidential campaign.
"Fox’s Andrew Napolitano Stirred the Pot for Trump’s British Tempest"

This pseudo Fox News commentator is full of sh*t! He dishes crap like it was truth. Obviously out for the money, he peruses every conspiracy like a INFOWARS nutbag. Follow the money folks, and you will find this dullard at the end of the trail.
"Andrew Napolitano was a Superior Court judge in New Jersey until, frustrated by the constraints of his salary, he left the bench for more lucrative pastures: talk radio, a syndicated small-claims court TV series (“Power of Attorney”) and, eventually, Fox News, where he rose to become the network’s senior legal analyst.
It was in that basic-cable capacity this week that Mr. Napolitano managed to set off a cascading scandal, which by Friday had sparked a trans-Atlantic tiff between Britain and the United States while plunging President Trump’s close relationship with Fox News into new, murkier territory."
Why is it necessary for Tweety to refuse to shake the German Prime Minister's hand when the press asked? Merkel turned to him and asked if he wanted to shake hands, and he ignored her. No President does that! He has no tact, very undiplomatic. He is really silly.
OR, as Tweety supporters might say, his mind was wondering, and he was thinking of something else, maybe his next tweet accusing the Pope of spying on him. I think Tweety shook Merkel's hand after the Press Conference. Didn't he?
BUT the World overseas called his act a "snub" and "awkward" so maybe he was being childish and rude.
"Awkward encounter: Donald Trump ignores handshake request from Angela Merkel in front of cameras at White House meeting"
The President just stared straight ahead when he was asked to shake hands with the German chancellor.

"It’s long been customary for heads of state to shake each other’s hands for the cameras when they meet – but Donald Trump is not like most.
In a truly cringe-worthy scene, the US President appeared to completely blank requests to shake his guest Angela Merkel’s hand.
Trump appears to ignore requests to shake the German chancellor’s hand
In awkward video footage, reporters can be heard asking the pair to shake hands for what was meant to be a smiling photo op – marking the German chancellor’s first visit to the White House under Trump.
Thinking he hadn’t heard, Merkel appears to gently asks him: “Do you want to do the handshake?”
While he had shaken Merkel’s hand on her arrival to the White House, Trump seems to completely ignore the simple request during their joint appearance and continues staring straight ahead.
Looking slightly embarrassed, Merkel turns to the cameras smiling and slightly grimacing."
I go with "seemingly" because I do not want the media to seem mean to poor bullied Tweety. [Joke: since when can anyone or anything bully a billionaire white man?]
"Donald Trump Appears to Ignore Angela Merkel's Handshake Request During Awkward Photo Opp"

"When Merkel, 62 — a well-known ally to the U.S. and friend of former President Barack Obama — suggested that she and Trump, 70, shake hands, the ex-Celebrity Apprentice host did not respond. Instead, he kept his gaze forward as photographers continued to snap pics of the two leaders sitting together.
It’s possible, of course, that he simply didn’t hear her. A photo taken outside the White House earlier in the day shows Merkel and Trump shaking hands despite their opposing views on immigration."
Tweety supporters think Merkel looked embarrassed? If so, she was embarrassed for Tweety because HE was the one being foolish, and childish. And there are many Sun readers who do not like Merkel who wanted her to appear embarrassed. Sorry folks, I do not think Merkel was embarrassed.
So where are we now in the adventure to distract America from the Russian involvement with Tweety and his crew of sycophants, i.e., where is the evidence of wire tapping? Tweety is running away from the story!
The whole Tweety tweet was, and still is very foolish. Tweety's "evidence" is silly, non-existent. Sean Spicer's attempt to argue the wire tapping evidence in a Press Conference and his argument with the press was actually childish. Tweety and his staff are guilty of not doing their homework, failing in simple due diligence. Again the credibility comes from too many lies and falsehoods to keep track,
"Donald Trump says he learned Obama tapped his phones from the New York Times"
By Lauren Carroll on Thursday, March 16th, 2017 at 2:20 p.m.
"When President Donald Trump tweeted on March 4 that former President Barack Obama ordered a wiretap on his phones during the election, he didn’t turn to the federal intelligence agencies for proof.
Instead, he says he got it straight from the "failing" New York Times.
In a March 15 interview, Fox News host Tucker Carlson asked Trump why he didn’t ask the agencies about any possible surveillance on him or his campaign before tweeting about it, given that the White House appears to have no evidence to backup his claims.
"Well, because the New York Times wrote about it," Trump replied. "Not that I respect the New York Times. I call it the ‘failing’ New York Times. But they did write on Jan. 20, using the word ‘wiretap.’ ""
Ha! Ha! Tweety is unbelievable; literally NOT believable. lol The President of the United States told Fox News he used the New York Times as his source and not the FBI or the CIA, to find out about a wiretap? Folks, we are in trouble.
"The New York Times report does use the word "wiretap;" the print headline was "Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides." It doesn’t appear that Trump read the article closely, however, because it does not say Obama personally ordered a tap on his phones during the election, as Trump claimed in his tweet."
"The New York Times article is about intercepted communications used by the FBI amid its investigation into some of Trump’s current and former aides — including Roger Stone, Carter Page and Paul Manafort — and their ties to Russia. It does not say whether the surveillance targeted Russians or Americans.
Nor does it say Trump and his campaign were under investigation or surveillance. In fact, the author stipulates: "It is not clear whether the intercepted communications had anything to do with Mr. Trump’s campaign, or Mr. Trump himself."
The difference between the substance of the New York Times article and what Trump claimed in his tweet is significant, because Trump’s tweet alleges Obama possibly acted outside the law to harm a political opponent, whereas the New York Times described aspects of an FBI investigation.
A president cannot unilaterally order surveillance on an American citizen. The FBI would have to obtain a warrant from a judge first, and to do that, investigators would need to have a suspicion based in evidence that Trump might have committed a crime."
The FBI is investigating your people Tweety, but they might be looking into your activities too. Since you brought it up, the investigation is not declassified since you are the classification authority. You brought it up publicly in your tweet so you essentially declassified the investigation. Good job!

"Breitbart, the right-wing media outlet previously run by Mr Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon, published a story accusing the Obama administration of having monitored Trump Towers during the election campaign.
The Breitbart story, which claimed the tactics were designed to undermine Mr Trump’s bid for the White House in a similar way to the “Plumbers” plot against the Democrats by President Nixon, referenced commentary by radio host Mark Levin.
But neither Breitbart nor Mr Levin offered any independent reporting or cited any intelligence sources to support their allegations."
Sometimes Tweety sounds like a babbling demented old man.
"The New York Times reported last year that the FBI was investigating Russia’s possible links to the US elections campaign and said agents had scrutinised advisers close to Mr Trump for any connections to Russian financial figures.
Mr Trump suggested he could take legal action over the alleged phone-tapping.
“I’d bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was taping my phones in October, just prior to the election.”"
Tweety is really all over the place on wire tapping. His definition varies daily, and his source varies daily.

"WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump defiantly refused to back down Friday from his explosive claim that Barack Obama wiretapped his phones, and sidestepped any blame for the White House decision to highlight an unverified report that Britain helped carry out the alleged surveillance.
In brushing off the diplomatic row with perhaps America's closest ally, Trump also revived another: the Obama administration's monitoring of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's calls."
