If you want to call Tweety a great communicator, be my guest.  By what standard is Tweety even an "OK" communicator?  If it takes being able to fool his voting base, he is truly great.  He is using the office of President for who knows what?  He does not seem to know what to do as President.

"Trump Is Terrible at Talking"

"If Reagan was The Great Communicator, Trump is The Miserable Communicator"

"Ronald Reagan was called "The Great Communicator," because more than any president who came before him he understood how best to play to the television cameras. He knew how intimate television was, so he didn't speak too loudly; his acting career taught him how to convey emotion; and he was good at ad-libbing, with a joke or an expression of outrage to suit the moment. While the effects of his TV wizardry in getting everyone on his side are often overstated, there's no doubt that Reagan understood how to communicate in different situations and tried hard to persuade those who didn't agree with him."

More . . .

"Consider the statement Trump gave Tuesday after the bombing in Manchester:

"So many young, beautiful, innocent people living and enjoying their lives murdered by evil losers in life. I won't call them monsters, because they would like that term. They would think that's a great name. I will call them, from now on, losers. They're losers. And we'll have more of them. But they're losers. Just remember that. [Trump]"

Trump was reading a prepared statement that he appeared to veer from at times, but White House aides said it was his idea to use the term "losers" to describe ISIS terrorists. Which happens to be the same term he applies to Cher or Rosie O'Donnell."

Tweety cannot give a speech or get thru an interview without misusing the English language "bigly."

"One might argue that just as Reagan mastered television, Trump has mastered Twitter. But even there, all Trump succeeds at is getting attention. His tweets certainly drive the news, but usually it's because he has said something impossibly dumb or offensive. He may have 30 million followers (slightly more than Wiz Khalifa, slightly fewer than Miley Cyrus), but there's no telling how many actually like him, or follow him for any reason other than comic relief."

TV and Twiiter are not vehicles to move and influence a nation!

Tweety supporter Boris Epshteyn said Tweety is a great communicator on the Bill Maher show.  Bill failed to ask for an example, much less three examples, which I would have asked.  So Bill missed a chance to learn what makes Tweety so good.

I saw an article that gave 5 reasons Tweety is a great communicator, like using Twitter, he is "Everyman?" [huge stretch there]. he has the votes, he has a "X" factor [this is a dumb one], and he is on TV a lot.   These five are not a basis for being a "Communicator" unless all these people mean is spewing words.  He influences just his "base" and they will not win every fight for him, so this is crap.

The one thing these people accomplish is to convince Tweety supporters that Tweety is good at communicating even if he is NOT.  Dumb thing to do folks.  Dumb.

Bill Maher did a terrible job with the "interview" of Boris Epshtteyn.  Terrible in that he did not follow for examples of what Boris offered as praise for Tweety.

The truth is Tweety cannot talk in complete sentences, has no grasp of the English language, and his vocabulary must be limited to 200 words the way he talks, so HOW is he a great communicator?  I Googled info after hearing this praise on a Bill Maher show.

"Boris Epshteyn. Boris Alexandrovich Epshteyn (Russian: Бори́с Алекса́ндрович Эпштейн; born August 14, 1982) is a Russian-born American Republican political strategist, investment banker, and attorney. He is currently the Chief Political Analyst at Sinclair Broadcast Group"

"Bill Maher Loses It When Boris Epshteyn Defends Trump"

This Boris fellow is part of a startup self-describing itself more-right-conservative-than-Fox News.  Obviously this new thing wants to be the Tweet State Run Miedia, along with Fox News, to make money.

Trump and the Press
"President Trump — The Great Communicator"

So I read thru Mark's notion that Tweety is a great communicator, and now I understand.  Tweety is a gimmicky, tricky no-holds-barred, take not prisoners communicator, so, therefore, he is "great" notwithstanding he does not speak English.

"I’ve been in the D.C. communications business for over 20 years. I’ve worked for and advised some of the highest-profile politicians on Capitol Hill and in the executive branch. I’ve never been so impressed with a politician as I have been with Donald Trump. Since he announced he was running back in June 2015, he has been teaching a master class in how to communicate with the American people in the 21st century. Most importantly, he understands that Democrats and their mainstream media allies wrote the rules on how Republicans are supposed to deal with the media and that the purpose of those rules is to destroy conservative Republicans and elect liberal Democrats. He’s having none of it.

The genius of Donald Trump is that he ignores their rules. He clearly doesn’t do political suicide. He doesn’t assume that the press is even attempting to be fair to him. So he doesn’t validate their credibility by trying to win them over as so many Republican politicians have tried in the past only to fail and wind up on the political carcass heap. Trump seems to understand he has no obligation to kowtow to the D.C. establishment media out of fear they’ll make trouble for his presidency. He knows they don’t accept the results of the election and are going to do everything they can to delegitimize his authority. Thus to CNN, “No, I’m not going to give you a question. You’re fake news.” If the establishment has a temper tantrum, so be it. Trump is the walking embodiment of what we say in the infantry when faced with discomfort: “Suck it up and drive on, soldier.”"

So what is Boris take?  Boris probably read this article, so Mark and Boris are twisting context and words from normal usage to weird usage.  It is called quibbling, otherwise known as lying.  You do not have to speak in complete sentences or say anything intelligent, and you can even lie, but as long as you own your audience, you are a "great communicator."  THAT is bull shit!

A final word from Mark, in all his "wisdom."  And by now, after Tweety has undermined his surrogates more times than anyone can count, making them all liars and fools, how is the "great communicator" doing.  America, you can score it as well as anyone else.  Oh, I see, Tweety's rating are the lowest ever . . . 38%

"So, a word of unsolicited advice to the good people who will serve in the Trump administration from someone who has been in the thick of it for a long time: Learn from your Boss. Suck it up, and drive on — and don’t take any crap from the establishment media. MAGA."
