Jeff Sessions, USA "Justice Department" established a Task "Religious Freedom Task Force" and years before the Catholic Church spent millions to lobby AGAINST laws extending the statutes of limitations for criminal charges AND lawsuits (no doubt money was the Church's main concern, then priests and piety and morality a distant second) involving child sexual abuse!

John David says it is the sexual revolution that led those poor, misguided priests into the pit of bell. The Catholic teachings and traditions are fine. Justice and fairness requires all views to be accepted, and not dictated by any religion or Bible verses plucked from among all the many, many verses.
Abuses of Catholic church reported in the Pennsylvania report is undoubtedly a tiny, tiny piece of the crap Catholic priests have done: sexual abuse, rape, abortions, secret codes, child pornography! The report says the Pope, essentially, in my opinion, helped hide this shit! The Catholic Church is DEAD, and all those poor people who depend on "the word of God" are lost in a wilderness of hopeless chaos. This is probably the saddest, sickest news on planet Earth.
Too often religions pick what THEY think is right and force that on people who have different views. Forcing people to accept your belief is not what Jesus would do.
What Would Jesus Do? The Catholic Church keeps doing the same thing over again and again expecting a different result! They ask forgiveness for ignoring, enabling, allowing, and hiding pedophile priests, and the Pope offers prayers. THAT IS INSANITY!
