The ultimate statement needed is that respect for women comes with respect for HUMAN RIGHTS. When males recognize women are HUMAN, NOT SEX OBJECTS OR SLAVES/SERVANTS, THEN and ONLY THEN, respect can follow.
Males can empower themselves and the planet by empowering women through RESPECT.
I just watched a movie very well done about Billy Jean King and her match with Bobby Riggs as she worked to get fair prize money for women tennis players in the '70s.

The respect conversation is viable if it starts with money, and prizes earned by females in sport because MOENY CREATES "RESPECT."

Tennis is not about respect for women as much as #METOO and TIMESUP. However, the movie renews and inspires part of the overall problem, lack of respect for females.
I listed just a few names to start the conversation about respecting the females of our species. There are a million ways males disrespect, including "legal" murder of females, tiny 4 year olds and teen and adult females. It's time to stop allowing that shit!
There are so many ways to articulate the stupid and cruel behavior of males toward females we can only summarize, from bra snapping a girl's first bra in grade school, beating women, harassing women, raping 4 year old and 7 year old girls, all the way to murder.
The movement needs to distinguish bad dates and bra snapping fro rape and sexual harassment and abuse, however. Sexual McCarthyism is a risk.
