Fox News 1916.
American experience, WWI, tells us what we need to recall in 2017 about American values, and Fox News. As Fox continues to support the weird things Tweety tweets or says in public, or some weird things he does overseas on domestically, we can see how they propagandize on his behalf.
"The [United States] Committee on Public Information" also "CPI"
"The Committee on Public Information, also known as the CPI or the Creel Committee, was an independent agency of the government of the United States created to influence public opinion to support US participation in World War I.
In just over 26 months, from April 14, 1917, to June 30, 1919, it used every medium available to create enthusiasm for the war effort and to enlist public support against the foreign and perceived domestic attempts to stop America's participation in the war. It used mainly propaganda to accomplish its goals."

The thing is, that as I grew up, born 1947, experienced the Japan occupation as a four year old, my dad as an Army Infantryman, Paratrooper for 27 year, I believed in the infallible nature of America and our values. We seemed to be a country trying to do good things, even while we were doing some bad things.
Now, I am not so sure we have any honesty or goodness left in our mainstream thinking. Certainly Bannon and Miller guiding Tweety to the ugliest side of humanity does not shed any light for American values.
