Jews were not welcome in the "Promised Land" they left years before the Brits gave it up to the UN, then when they returned, they claimed the "Promised Land" from Arabs. I'd argue with them too! Why was it so terrible the Arabs fought to keep them out, to keep them from colonizing Palestinian lands, and to defend themselves from Jewish incursions?
How do Jews forget so soon they were in a Holocaust?
What does Sicario mean?
One web source says Jewish assassin.
http://www.reelworldtheology.com/review-sicario/
"The word “Sicario” has its origins from the siqariqim, a radical splinter group of the Jewish Zealots, who operated during the time of Jesus and after to expel Roman rule from the province of Judea. One of the twelve apostles, Simon, was identified as a member of the Zealots; and even Judas Iscariot was, at one time in scholarly history, believed to be a part of the secretive and radical minority within the Zealots."
Is this true? How can it be if it is Spanish?
https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-meaning-of-sicario
"Sicario technically in Spanish means a”hitman”. And that’s it.
Sicarios are hired henchmen who are paid to murder people. This term is generally used in cartel lingo when some 10–12 sicarios are present for a cartel boss. These people act as a sort of bodyguards and middlemen too. the number of sicarios generally show the strength of the cartel leader."
They are generally street thugs who are later trained or even discharged police officers. The livelihood is quite wealthy and this attracts a lot of policemen too."
I wanted to know so I could study whether Arabs cruelly slaughtered Jews colonizing their lands after 1947 or if, possibly, Jews were just as cruel to the Arabs. I wondered how Arabs could slaughter Jews if the Jews win all the wars against the Arabs.
https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-meaning-of-sicario
"From my understanding, it comes from the "sicarii," a group of Jewish rebels that used a short sword hidden in their tunics, the "sica."
Check out Chapter 8 of Antiquities of the Jews by Flavius Josephus (my spelling of his name may be off; I refer to him most often by the Spanish translation of his name: Flavio Josefo)."
Moving on, did any Jew slaughter Arabs after 1947, or were Jews always on the defensive? Not sure who will give us the truth, I use this reference:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_killings_and_massacres_in_Mandatory_Palestine
This shows Arabs on the offense starting in 1920, killing as many as 133 Jews with 113 Arabs killed in Palestinian Riots in 1929. Then in 1936 Jewish and British killed 197 Arabs, with 80 Jews killed n what is called a Labor Strike Revolt. The killings are a long, long list with both Jews and Arabs killed, with the list thru 14 May 1948.
Jerusalem was NEVER intended to be the capital of Israel, PERIOD. Jerusalem was to be an INTERNATIONAL city.
"UN General Assembly Resolution 181"
29 Nov 1947
"UN General Assembly Resolution 181
(Partition Plan)
November 29, 1947
United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 called for the partition of the British-ruled Palestine Mandate into a Jewish state and an Arab state. It was approved on November 29, 1947 with 33 votes in favor, 13 against, 10 abstentions and one absent (see list at end of document). The resolution was accepted by the Jews in Palestine, yet rejected by the Arabs in Palestine and the Arab states.
. . . .
3. Independent Arab and Jewish States and the Special International Regime for the City of Jerusalem, set forth in Part III of this Plan, shall come into existence in Palestine two months after the evacuation of the armed forces of the mandatory Power has been completed but in any case not later than 1 October 1948. The boundaries of the Arab State, the Jewish State, and the City of Jerusalem shall be as described in Parts II and III below."
So now you know Jerusalem was not intended to be the capitol of Israel.
"Chapter I: Holy Places, Religious Buildings and Sites
1. Existing rights in respect of Holy Places and religious buildings or sites shall not be denied or impaired.
2. In so far as Holy Places are concerned, the liberty of access, visit, and transit shall be guaranteed, in conformity with existing rights, to all residents and citizen of the other State and of the City of Jerusalem, as well as to aliens, without distinction as to nationality, subject to requirements of national security, public order and decorum.
Similarly, freedom of worship shall be guaranteed in conformity with existing rights, subject to the maintenance of public order and decorum."
The Catholic Church has its Holy City in Italy, so why was Jerusalem given to the Jews alone considering the UN requirements shown above?
