I do not think the media can avoid being snarky with Tweety. His people and he say ugly, mean, stupid, sarcastic things to and about them.
Tweety is a nasty, sarcastic, mean bully who will grin at a senior, award winning journeyman media host, John Dickerson, and say his show is fake news, and he calls it "Deface the Nation." [It is called "Face the Nation]. A bully knows when his victim is defenseless and jumps on him. That defines Tweety's behavior.
The other day Jake Tapper asked K. Conway what was presidential. Conway was trying to skate on a serious question by saying if Tweety does it, and he is President, it must be Presidential. Clapper did not let that go.

"During the forum, Tapper brought up Trump’s tweet where he falsely claimed millions of people illegally voted to make the case that he actually won the national popular vote. He then mentioned other Twitter activity by Trump, such as attacking a CNN reporter and retweeting a 16-year-old.
In response to Tapper’s question if this was “presidential behavior,” Conway stated that Trump is “the President-elect so that’s presidential behavior.”
In response Tapper invoked another President's "behavior" and asked it if was "proper," Bill Clinton. She gae a stupid non-answer and Trapper went after her for it. All Conway had to do was say something more sincere, like maybe he could tweet less for the benefit of all.
"Telling Tapper that she could see where he was going, she asked, “Are you actually comparing what Bill Clinton did in the Oval Office to a Twitter feed?”
Conway then wondered if they should go over Clinton’s behavior for those who hadn’t been born when he was in office. Tapper added that just because a president does something doesn’t make it presidential behavior."
Go for is Conway. Make my day. Dig yourself a hole you can never climb out of. Embarrass yourself more.
Here is one for you Conway. Which is worse? Tweety insulting and bullying people, and literally injuring them emotionally and financially with his words since his office carries huge power, or is it worse when a few reporters report on a video of Tweety saying things? Tweety says them, it is fact. Then the media comments.

Since Dickerson has “way too much dignity to trade insults with a president of the United States to his face,” Colbert decided to do it for him. “I sir, am no John Dickerson,” he said."
"“When you insult one member of the CBS family, you insult us all!” Colbert began. “Mr. President, I love your presidency, I call it ‘Disgrace The Nation.’ You’re not the POTUS, you’re the ‘gloat-us.’ You’re the glutton with the button. You’re a regular ‘Gorge Washington.’ You’re the ‘presi-dunce’ but you’re turning into a real ‘prick-tator.’”

The bottom line is this. Tweety, if you cannot take it, do not dish it. It is funny how bullies seldom are really tough.
Do media people have to take Tweety's crap and not respond, Ms Conway? Do the "fake news" media have to lay down like sheep to slaughter? Maybe if Tweety did not mean to be insulting it would be one thing. Tweety intentionally is mean, and insulting, Conway. So deal with it when the media hits back and gets snarky, and laughs in Tweety's face. Sure, Tweety will solve the Middle East Israeli-Palestine dispute over territory, settlements, citizenship, and Jerusalem. Easy and no problem for Tweety, like health care reform, tax reform, and The Wall. I
t is all so easy for Tweety, right? Why was this Middle East problem not solved sooner. Here I come, Superman Tweety to the rescue. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
