There is no way to talk to people who think Jesus is coming to Earth in 2050, or that God raises the sun each morning, or that climate change is God's work.

American Evangelicals sold their souls to a False Idol, anti-abortion, anti-gay Trump Judges. To justify this blasphemy against al peoples everywhere, Evangelicals claim God sent Trump to lead America.

"President Trump’s jab at Pelosi’s prayers, and what it says about how he sees his opponents"
It also says something about how he hopes his base sees them.

By Eugene Scott - Reporter covering identity politics for The Fix  Dec 18, 2019

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/12/18/president-trumps-jab-pelosis-prayers-what-it-says-about-how-he-sees-his-opponents/

If Tweety Trump was actually truly religious, he'd know you do not clap back on anyone saying they pray for you!  But really everyone knows this, so why doesn't Tweety?  Because Tweety is, at best, among the least religious President's in America history.

Trump's tweet:

"Even worse than offending the Founding Fathers, you are offending Americans of faith by continually saying “I pray for the President,” when you know this statement is not true, unless it is meant in a negative sense. It is a terrible thing you are doing, but you will have to live with it, not I!"

Where the f**k do these Evangelicals want to go with Tweet "Fat Bastard" Trump?  Going to a seriously UN-Christian place I'd say.

"Pelosi made her comment about praying for the president recently in an exchange with James Rosen, a reporter for Sinclair Broadcast Group. He asked her if she hated Trump, something many conservatives have suggested is the main motivation for the Democrats’ desire to impeach the president."

Grow up folks, Pelosi doesn't NEED to hate Trump to think her Oath of Office requires her to impeach him.  For sure Tweety knows NOTHING about Catholics.

Even Evangelicals know Tweety Trump needs prayers so he fights his most evil impulses.

"Author Bill Press, who was an altar boy in the Catholic Church, sought to explain how Pelosi’s faith is shaping her response to the president.

“On political issues, Catholics are all over the map,” he wrote in the Hill earlier this month. “They could differ on the time of day. But there are two bedrock principles, central to the gospel, that unite them all: a commitment to the Social Gospel and a rejection of hate for love.”"

"But many supporters of the president did not believe Pelosi when she said she prays for Trump."

No surprise fake Christians want to think Pelosi is not speaking her faith.  These are the "Christians" who feel hate is a rational response to evil people.  These are the "Catholics" who choose what they want to disrespect and, yes, JUDGE, rather than respect and love other Catholics.

"Some dismissed the sincerity of her faith, given her support for abortion rights. To them — and Trump — Pelosi’s commitment to Catholic teachings is questionable at best.

Pelosi does not practice what she preaches,” Micaiah Bilger wrote for Life News, a conservative media outlet that focuses on abortion, stem-cell research, euthanasia and related issues."

Here's a sick explanation to justify Tweety's clap back.  He thinks he is God!

"Trump’s faith — or at least the faith of many of his supporters — leads him to believe that not only is he fit for office, but that he was chosen by a higher power to be there."

It is easy for a man who is not religious to question religious people.  Trump is most assuredly NOT religious in any way.  Tweety wants to erase religion by the time he's done, surreptitiously, steadily, and completely.

"In his jab at Pelosi, the president is demonstrating a misunderstanding, or even ignorance, about the diversity of faith in America — and how many religious people like Pelosi, believe Trump is unfit for office yet continue to pray for him. Or he is doing something that his critics believe is worse, looking to erase, minimize or ignore religions and worldviews that don’t support him. And that is what many people of faith who support impeachment believe could be the lasting effect of the Trump presidency."

"Calling Trump ‘the chosen one’ is a political act — not a theological statement"
Claims about God’s plans for the United States often morph into justifications for wrongdoing

By Wallace Best - a professor of religion and African American studies at Princeton University.    Dec 4, 2019

https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2019/12/04/calling-trump-chosen-one-is-political-act-not-theological-statement/

Rick and Nikki say Trump is chosen by God.  These are adults?

"When asked by the network’s chief politics strategist, David Brody, what God’s intent was in installing Trump in office, Haley responded by saying that his presidency showed that “everything happens for a reason. … I think God sometimes places people for lessons and sometimes places people for change.”"

Nikki Haley is another fake "Christian."

"Haley’s and Perry’s comments show emphatically that Trump has raised anew some important theological questions about God’s providential role in the election of U.S. presidents, and the notion of divine “chosenness.”

"Protestant, Catholic, Judaic and Islamic theologians have debated this idea for centuries, often marshaling it to help explain the seeming randomness of world events. There’s nothing intrinsically partisan about that theology, but in practice, the neutral version tends to bleed into arguments about “chosenness” that serve to bolster one’s own cultural dominance and politics in the name of one’s religion."

The worst of man's worst impulses is unleashed by irrationally accepting bad leaders as "Go's will."

"Is it theologically justifiable to say that God prefers some candidates over others? I do not know. I am sure, though, that human beings do play a role in the election of a president, as the world is fundamentally shaped by human action. To think otherwise outsources our moral responsibility to work diligently for the greater good of all humanity. Indeed, to throw up our hands and assume that bad leaders must not be rejected because their existence implies divine approval positions us to repeat, and relive, the very worst episodes of human history."

Being a spiritual, good person is a goal we should strive for.  If you follow an organized religion and identify as Jew, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, or other, just be good the best way you can.  If religion is good for anything, it must be for making us care for each other.

Somehow, organized religions do not achieve "good" by any stretch.  In fact, if you read any new at all you can see religion used world wide to persecute and kill.  It sickens me.

So these words hit home for me when I see President Trump at work, a man who says I bought you, so you owe me.  Tweety trump says he has purchased Evangelicals support so anyone who goes against him is a failed Evangelical.

ANYONE who supports this idea of Tweety's is not a religions person, but rather, a person who is willing to sell their soul for political gains like getting courts to argue and defend their beliefs.

The people who sell their souls to the highest bidder do not see the slippery slope of a theocracy.  Which Bible, which verse, which pastor is in charge, and by whose power are these decisions made?

I acknowledge I am repeating myself having blogged about the worst religious hypocrites using the Bible as a weapon, rather than serving a God I know as a loving God.  I acknowledge I already blogged that I learned the Sermon on the Mount Christianity growing up in the '50, and '60s.  Yes, I am old, but true Christianity is not complicated folks.

"What is the Golden Rule? - Biblical Meaning, Importance and Examples"
Brannon DeibertSEO Editor

https://www.christianity.com/christian-life/what-is-the-golden-rule.html

"“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12

“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31"

Make your life ugly by looking for a verse in the Bible that allows you to judge, hate, and harm people, be a hypocrite to the most important part of Christianity, the Golden Rule.  It's called the Golden Rule for a reason.  Think!

To me it is people who contort themselves into knots to figure out an obvious meaning of a simple, short Bible verse, but I guess that is what religion is about.  The key in this overlong analysis is that we should judge ourselves and repent where we must, and need.  Don't judge others, PERIOD.

"Do Not Judge Lest Ye Be Judged

https://gobeforegrace.wordpress.com/2015/12/05/do-not-judge-lest-ye-be-judged/

"The goal of personal repentance is not to somehow keep the judgmental people from judging you or even to judge them back or worse, preemptively judge them.  The goal is to turn your own judging spotlight on yourself before they can.  To go back to the Sermon on the Mount, the goal is to get the plank out of your eye before anybody notices it.  Or at least to acknowledge it before they do, saying, “I have all ready confessed the planks exist in my life and am working on them.”"

My bottom line is religion and Christians should stay in their "lane" so to speak, stay out of trying to run government, stop playing politics, both will soil your message.  All Governments lie, so are you going to be part of that cabal?  Politics is lower than prostitution on the rolls of integrity.  Politics is very nasty and cruel, and involves incredible amounts of corruption.

Live what Christianity is really about, LOVE!  Judge not others, lest ye be judged harshly.

HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE. TRUMP IS A VERY BAD PERSON.  Trump is evangelicals false idol.

"False Idol — Why the Christian Right Worships Donald Trump"
By Alex Morris    Contributing editor   December 2, 2019

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/christian-right-worships-donald-trump-915381/

"Trump seemed to ponder this [Evangelical view on sex change operations or no operation; NC bathroom bill.] deeply. For much of his political run, the thrice-married, swindling, profane, materialistic, self-styled playboy had appealed mainly to the more fringe elements of Christianity, a ragtag group of prosperity gospelers (like his “spiritual adviser” Paula White, a televangelist who promises her donors their own personal angel), Christian dominionists (who believe that America’s laws should be founded explicitly on biblical ones — including stoning homosexuals), and charismatic or Pentecostal outliers (like Frank Amedia, the Trump campaign’s “liaison for Christian policy,” who once claimed to have raised an ant from the dead). Considering their extreme views, these folks had an alarming number of followers, but certainly nothing of voting-bloc magnitude."

Trump was looking for votes, PERIOD.

"Throughout it all, Trump was not positioning himself as a true believer — “You know, I went to Sunday school,” he said with a shrug — but rather as a strongman, the likes of which the religious right had never seen. “Liberals are being the bullies here,” the Heritage Foundation’s Anderson told him at one point. “If there is a culture war in the United States, conservatives aren’t the aggressors, liberals are waging a culture war. They are trying to impose their liberal values.” Trump assured the group that, in his presidency, liberal oppression would end."

So what did the Evangelicals give up?  Their values, their souls.  They decided to support a very bad, evil man for the sake of their so-called "religious rights."  The Evangelicals got the "right" to judge, hurt, and hate people who do not agree with them.

It's insane, but Evangelicals say God gives us imperfect men, like King David, a serial adulterer, which is also Tweety's patter, so God gave us Tweety Trump!   INSANITY!  IT IS PURE INSANITY TO SAY GOD GAVE US TRUMP TO MAKE US BETTER PEOPLE!  Trump might be King one day, but he'll never be King David!

"Today, 82 percent of white evangelicals would cast their ballots for Trump. Two-thirds believe that he has not damaged the decency of the presidency, 55 percent agree with Sarah Huckabee Sanders that “God wanted him to be president,” and 99 percent oppose impeachment."

AMERICAN CHRISTIANITY IS, AS THE WRITER ALMOST SAYS, "PROFOUNDLY BROKEN" AS IT EMBARCES THIS VERY, VERY UGLY, CUREL, NASTY MAN.  I WILL HELP ANSWER THE QUESTONS.  YES!  AMERICAN EVANGELICALS ARE BROKEN CHRISTIANS.

"What transactions don’t account for, however, is how white evangelicals seem alarmingly keen to not just vote for Trump but to also claim him as one of their own, to pronounce — as did Focus on the Family founder James Dobson — that Trump is a “baby Christian,” deserving of ample benefit of the doubt as he learns the ways of righteousness. Or suggest that it “may be immoral” not to support him, as did Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr. Or insinuate that the Stormy Daniels payment was fake news, as did Billy Graham’s son Franklin Graham. Or to go on national television and protest that removing Trump from office would lead to a “Civil War-like fracture . . . from which this country will never heal,” as did Jeffress.

The fervent embrace of Trump seemed not just expedient, but something more insidious. If Donald Trump was to be its standard-bearer, was something in American Christianity profoundly broken? The answer to that question mattered profoundly to me."

I grew up going to church every Sunday and Summer Christina Camp.  I was a conservative Christian like this Rolling Stone writer.  I do not recognize the "Christian right," but it sounds too extreme for me.  Just sayin'.  Nevertheless, what this writer says sounds right.

"I was raised a child of the Christian right. I know what they believe because the tenets of their faith are mine too. Growing up, I attended church at least twice a week and went to Bible camp every summer, singing songs about Christian martyrs who stood up to tyrants in the name of God."

"More than anything, they taught us that we were beautifully and wonderfully made in the image of God, and because of that we should respect ourselves and everyone else we encountered. They made us believe that our humanity held a divine spark."

Caring for people, respecting people, being humane and believing in your humanity.  These teachings of the Conservative right do not weaponize the Bible to hurt, harm, and hate, even kill.

But change occurs.  It wasn't for good; the change was for less Christian beliefs and more cruel beliefs.  Here comes Falwell and Paul Weyrich, two very bad, pseudo "Christians," "imperfect men," to lead some of the Evangelicals, like King David did in Biblical fantasies, eh?

"In the late 1940s, preachers like Billy Graham had begun referring to “evangelical” as a movement that was theologically conservative but had “a heart for the world.” Evangelicals engaged in American culture as a way of showing they cared. By the 1950s, Graham was preaching against communism and hobnobbing with presidents — though he once horrified Harry S. Truman by praying on the ground outside the Oval Office."

The writer tells us about a conversation he has with his mom and aunt.  He taped it.  To me the words that come from the mom and aunt's mouths are crazy, and the words shed no light on how they support Trump based on Christian values they claim to embrace.  The mom and aunt have contorted their Christianity into a sick, sad, hypocritical knot.    I'm sorry, but his mom and aunt are the "broken Christians" he refers to.

I'm not judging the mom and aunt, rather I am reporting a fact that any Christian that convinces themselves Trump is a good man is deceiving themselves for a selfish, clearly UNC-Christian purpose.

Many, many Americans are crazy!

"Not long before my trip to Alabama, my mom sent me a book called The Book of Signs: 31 Undeniable Prophesies of the Apocalypse, by Dr. David Jeremiah. “If you want to know what the religious right thinks,” she’d called to say, “read this book.” So I started reading. Jeremiah is pastor of the San Diego megachurch helmed for 25 years by Tim LaHaye, co-author of the Left Behind series, and he is a fervent follower of the End Times theology his predecessor popularized. By referencing symbolism in the Bible and shoehorning historical and current events into a narrative, The Book of Signs “proves” Jesus’ imminent return. It’s the type of book that mostly appeals to people already primed to believe it, but close to half of Americans do. In fact, 41 percent of the country — and 58 percent of white evangelicals — believe that Jesus definitely or probably will return to Earth by 2050. [OMG!  America is f***ing full of crazy MFs!] In June 2016, Trump named Jeremiah to his Evangelical Executive Advisory Board. In May 2018, Trump moved the Israeli embassy to Jerusalem, an event that is meant to presage Christ’s return."

People who believe literally in every word of the Bible, written by who know who truthfully, are crazy and foolish. No one was there to prove any of the authors are who people say they are, right?  See, I can be literal too; it's dumb not to THINK thru the Bible, and allow it to be a kind book of caring, rather than a cruel book of judging, hurting, hating, and killing!

Jesus is not coming down from the heavens to wave a magic wand for all Christians, just Christians!  If this is the sort of thing you believe, why does Jesus and God allow babies to be raped and murder?  Why do these magical, all knowing and all powerful figures allow all the horrible things to happen that happen in this sick world, e.g., Saddam gassing the Kurds?

Indeed, your idea of Jesus is extreme ugly, and it's incredible to me you can't see how ugly it is!

"“I don’t think he’s godly, Alex,” my aunt tells me. “I just think he stands up for Christians. Trump’s a fighter. He’s done more for the Christian right than Reagan or Bush. I’m just so thankful we’ve got somebody that’s saying Christians have rights too.”

But what about the rights and needs of others, I wonder. “Do you understand why someone could be called by their faith to vote against a party that separates families?”

“That’s a big sounding board, but I don’t think that is the issue,” says my mom.

“But it’s happening, and I’m not OK with it.”

My mom shakes her head. “No one’s OK with it.”

“If that’s your heart, then vote your heart,” says my aunt. “But with the abortion issue and the gay-rights issue, Trump’s on biblical ground with his views. I appreciate that about him.”"

Wow!  These people cannot be convinced of anything rational.  These Evangelicals believe too much in magic.

BUT THERE ARE SOME EVANGELICALS THAT BY SOME LOGIC WANT TRUMP GONE Go away, President who acts like a Mean Girl, that's you Tweety Trump!

What does Tweety Trump say?  What is Tweety Trump's response?  Does Trump judge himself first?  You can guess.

"President Trump has responded to an influential evangelical magazine's call for his removal from office with a tweet claiming "No President has done more for the Evangelical community."

Why it matters: Christianity Today is an influential mainstream founded by the late Rev. Billy Graham. Trump has had strong support from evangelical Christians, and Graham's son Franklin previously has stood by the the president, saying Trump "defends the faith.""

Who comes to Tweety's rescue - a Falwell, no surprise!  Daddy was not a good Christina either.

"Jerry Falwell Jr. Poses With Trump After Predicting ‘Hiroshima And Nagasaki’ For Dems"

"Prominent evangelical leader Jerry Falwell Jr. proudly posed for a photo with President Donald Trump Friday at Mar-a-Lago, one day after [Falwell] callously predicting “Hiroshima and Nagasaki” for the Democrats in 2020.

Falwell, who has been dogged by scandal allegations, is one of a crew of evangelical leaders rallying around Trump after a scathing editorial about the president last week in Christianity Today."

A tainted and corrupt Evangelical, Falwell, comes to Tweety's rescue by saying things he does not understand, could not possibly imagine.  There is no more cowardly, gutless thing to say.  Hiroshima and Nagasaki are where THOUSANDS of Japanese men, women, children, elderly, helpless civilians, were literally cooked alive by an American WWII atomic bomb.

Truman said we had no choice in dropping the atomic bomb on civilian non-combatants, and he did so to saved a million US soldiers.  However, we committed one of the most horrendous war crimes in the history of the world to save our soldiers.

Trump is transactional.  His lifetime of achievement is based on winning the negotiations, I win, you lose, and if you want something, you have to give me something, "Quid Pro Quo."

Uh oh!  What will Tweety Trump say to these Jews?

"Trump attacks Christianity Today over bruising editorial"
By Morgan Chalfant - 12/20/19 07:46 AM EST

https://thehill.com/homenews/news/475445-trump-attacks-christianity-today-over-bruising-editorial

I've studied the Middle East some, not an expert by any means.  I am an interested party, however, given my Air Force career led me to study the Middle East, and the military implications of that region.  Stability in the Middle East, a complex issue for decades, is important to Western Democracies.  F***ing with what Tweety Trump has f***ed with is ugly, stupid, uninformed, and destabilizes the region.

My guess is there are Jews who think what Tweety Trump has done "for" Israel, and against Palestine, has not helped stabilize the region or help achieve peace between Israel and Palestine.  Recognizing Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel, moving the US Embassy to Israel, and stating Israeli settlements tin Palestine is legal are actions to diminish Palestine, and appeals to extremists in Jewish Zionism.

It is ironic to me that these lawmakers miss these points, but seek the right solution, chastise Tweety!

"In an open letter released Friday, the lawmakers called on Trump to dismiss Miller from his administration because “his documented support for white nationalist and virulently anti-immigrant tropes is wholly unacceptable and disqualifying for a government employee.” [Tweety will never dismiss Miller.  He needs Miller for more hateful ideas and policies!  Tweety thinks Miller finds ways to get votes, and Tweety doesn't care who or what he craps on to getmor evotes.]

“With America experiencing historic levels of anti-Semitism, xenophobia, racism, and white supremacy, there should be no place in our government and on any President’s staff for people propagating such views,” read the letter.

The lawmakers also rejected the Trump White House’s allegation that those criticizing Miller over the emails, surfaced by the Southern Poverty Law Center, were simply “trying to deny his Jewish identity which is a pernicious form of anti-Semitism.”
“Nothing could be further from the truth,” the lawmakers said. “Hateful ideology is not just unacceptable, it is un-American, irrespective of the faith, race, or nationality of the individual promoting it.” [So do these lawmakers agree that Palestinians should not be marginalized in Palestine?  I hope, but would be surprised if they have anything good to say about Palestine.]

“Weaponizing anti-Semitism is incredibly dangerous [Like weaponizing the Bible?] — by muddying the waters, we are no longer able to see and fight against the real anti-Semites in our midst,” they added. “We will not now, or ever, accept intolerance or hate anywhere within our government, and especially not in the White House.”"

"Ronald Reagan’s Daughter Torches Donald Trump: ‘His Cruelty Really Has No Limits’"
Patti Davis said the president’s sense of decency is “nonexistent” in a stinging editorial for The Washington Post.

"“Trump has assaulted numerous people at his rallies — a Gold Star family, a disabled reporter, various women, political rivals,” she wrote.
“He knows full well the impact of attacking people so publicly,” said Davis, who earlier this year said her late father would have been “horrified” to see what the GOP had become under Trump.
“Maybe some of those in his audience on Wednesday finally began to perceive that his cruelty is limitless, his sense of decency nonexistent,” she added."

Maybe the people at the rally will finally see and hear enough crap from Tweety "Fat Bastard" Trump / Mean Girl, or maybe they are all crazy like the Evangelicals that ignore the sick, ugly person he is to sell their souls worshipping him.
