Our President could do better, and I have no idea why he behaves like he does other than it is what he chooses to do as a 70 year old man-child.
I have not heard a Tweety supporter logical, wisely defend Tweety's agenda. He is embarrassing America internationally. Tweety is embarrassing America here at home with tweets and his seemingly incompetent staff. Bannon has done nothing to make Tweety look good to America or the world.
Maybe Obama made America look weak in some people's eyes, but Tweety has not made America look strong in anything but words.
My difficulty with Tweety gets harder as he pushes fake news, makes up things like he inherited a disaster, American "carnage," other daily distractions, 13 trips to golf in Florida in 60 days, announcements via tweets using extremely questionable sources.
"In Private, It Turns Out That Trump Is Pretty Much the Same"

"Roger Cohen writes about the Trump-Merkel meeting a couple of weeks ago:
When Donald Trump met Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany earlier this month, he put on one of his most truculent and ignorant performances. He wanted money—piles of it—for Germany's defense, raged about the financial killing China was making from last year's Paris climate accord and kept "frequently and brutally changing the subject when not interested, which was the case with the European Union."
…Trump's preparedness was roughly that of a fourth grader…Trump knew nothing of the proposed European-American deal known as the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, little about Russian aggression in Ukraine or the Minsk agreements, and was so scatterbrained that German officials concluded that the president's daughter Ivanka, who had no formal reason to be there, was the more prepared and helpful.
Aha! Look at this:
"Ivanka Trump accepts Angela Merkel’s invitation to attend women’s economic summit"
First Daughter will study successful apprenticeship programmes

"Just days before Ivanka Trump releases her book, Women Who Work: Rewriting the Rules for Success, she is expected to fly to Berlin to join women from other G20 countries and four additional US delegates.
“Looking forward to working together in Berlin next month to promote the role of women in the economy and the future of our workforce globally #W20‬,” Ms Trump wrote on social media."
Another dot to connect the dots for Ivanka.
"Ivanka Trump is making her White House job official"

"Washington (CNN)Ivanka Trump is changing course and will become a government employee in the coming days, a White House official told CNN Wednesday.
President Donald Trump's eldest daughter will be an unpaid employee working in the West Wing.
"I have heard the concerns some have with my advising the President in my personal capacity while voluntarily complying with all ethics rules, and I will instead serve as an unpaid employee in the White House Office, subject to all of the same rules as other federal employees," Ivanka Trump said in a statement"
OK, back to the Merkel meeting and Tweety.
"Merkel is not one to fuss. But Trump's behavior appalled her entourage and reinforced a conclusion already reached about this presidency in several European capitals: It is possible to do business with Trump's national security adviser, Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster, with Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis, and with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, but these officials are flying blind because above them at the White House rages a whirlwind of incompetence and ignorance.
I'm sure glad that Republicans are restoring the respect for America that we lost after eight years of that empty suit Barack Obama."
The Tweety Twump Presidency continues to unravel daily. I wish it did not, and I wish his supporters ere right that the Russian contacts and coordination stories were not true. If there was nothing wrong, why does Flynn need immunity?
"Report: Michael Flynn Wants Immunity Before Talking with Russia-Trump Investigators"
The former national security advisor's lawyer says Flynn "has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it."
Edwin RiosMar. 30, 2017
"The Wall Street Journal reported late on Thursday that retired general Michael Flynn, who served as national security adviser to President Donald Trump, offered to be interviewed by FBI and congressional officials in exchange for immunity from any prosecution that may result from ongoing investigations into ties between Trump campaign officials and Russia. Flynn resigned in February, less than a month into his White House tenure, following revelations that he misled White House officials about his communications with Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak. The offer, made through an attorney, has thus far not been accepted, the Journal reported.
More from the Journal:
It wasn't clear if Mr. Flynn had offered to talk about specific aspects of his time working for Mr. Trump, but the fact that he was seeking immunity suggested Mr. Flynn feels he may be in legal jeopardy following his brief stint as the national security adviser, one official said..."
Flynn went public on TV video months ago saying anyone seeking immunity was basically guilty of a crime. So, General, I guess you are guilty of a crime by your own words.
Add to the difficulty I have meeting Tweety half way to try to find ways to support his initiatives is the things the WH is doing whe they say there was no collusion with Russia to get Tweety elcted, like Nunes actions. Read this:
"Report: Two White House Officials Gave Devin Nunes "Incidental" Surveillance Info"
One of the officials was identified as a former aide to Michael Flynn.
Inae OhMar. 30, 2017
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2017/03/report-two-white-house-officials-assisted-devin-nunes
"Two White House officials assisted in providing Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), chairman of the House intelligence committee, with the information he used to claim that members of Donald Trump's transition team were "incidentally" swept up in foreign intelligence collection efforts, the New York Times reports. The paper identified the officials as National Security Council intelligence director Ezra Cohen-Watnick, a former aide to Michael Flynn, and Michael Ellis, who worked for Nunes before taking a job in the White House counsel's office.
The effort to provide Nunes with the incidental collection info led to a bizarre and dramatic series of events last week. After viewing the intelligence reports on the White House grounds, Nunes, whose committee is probing Russia's meddling in the 2016 election, staged a dramatic press conference the next morning and then rushed to the White House to brief the president."
This is a weird story . . . .
"Republican lawmakers, including Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain, have called on Nunes to provide additional information about his White House meeting or risk losing the "ability to lead" the ongoing probe."
