Trump promised to drain the swamp, but all he has done was bring in different kinds of swamp things, and some are uglier than the previous swamp things.

Nielsen eating in a Mexican restaurant after being part of state sponsored terror on Mexican and other brown skinned immigrant children . . . . Melania's jacket!  The President continues to lie and lie and lie.  Another Trump rep Corey "Ass-hole" Lewandowski reacts to a downs syndrome immigrant with a distasteful mouth-noise [see my videos in "Resources"].  Sanders aggressively and sarcastically deflects questions into the classic "What about Hillary's emails?" and adds / embellishes to Trump's lies.  Kellyanne Conway and Stephen Miller do their nastiest to Make America Hate Again!

All the while this is going on I am hoping our county is not failing in values and our world position, but I am afraid we are failing in every way possible,

Corey wants us to believe he was mocking the "Democrat," not the downs syndrome girl.  Hs timing as pretty bad I'd say!  And HE is lying.  He was trying to seem tough, and came across HEARTLESS AND SOULLESS!

"The Absurdity of Trump Officials Eating at Mexican Restaurants During an Immigration Crisis"

Nielsen got asked to leave by protestors, the next day Sara Sanders was asked to leave by the owner of a restaurant because the owner felt endangered by her presence.

"Kirstjen Nielsen heckled by protesters at Mexican restaurant. Other diners applauded them."

"Protesters, roughly 10 to 15 of them, entered MXDC Cocina Mexicana about 8 p.m. while Nielsen finished her meal with one other person. The restaurant’s general manager, Thomas Genovese, told The Washington Post that Nielsen had been dining for about an hour when the heckling began. She did not come with a reservation, he said. The eatery is about two blocks east of the White House.

“Secretary Nielsen!” a male protester yelled as the group approached Nielsen’s table, according to live video footage posted on Facebook by Metro D.C. Democratic Socialists of America. “How dare you spend your evening here eating dinner as you’re complicit in the separation and deportation of over 10,000 children separated from their parents? How can you enjoy a Mexican dinner as you’re deporting and imprisoning tens of thousands of people who come here seeking asylum in the United States? We call on you to end family separation and abolish ICE!”"

"Why didn’t someone stop Melania Trump from wearing that jacket? That’s not how this White House works."

"A day after first lady Melania Trump stirred controversy by wearing a jacket that read “I really don’t care, do u?” on a trip to visit a children’s shelter on the U.S.-Mexico border, people are still scratching their heads.

What did it mean? And how did something like this happen?"

Tweety made t worse!  Tweety tried to explain Melania's jacket message mistake with a bald faced lie, making it worse.  It was a mistake Melania could have apologized for, easily.  a mistake was all it was, I'm sure.

"Trump is a baldfaced liar"

"In all my years, I have never seen anything quite like this: a U.S. president who lies and demonizes at the drop of a hat. I don’t just mean President Trump makes statements that tend to be inaccurate or misleading or that he exaggerates, equivocates and, at times, shades the truth.

No, this president repeatedly makes declarations that are flat-out at variance with established facts; assertions that on their face cannot be true."

What is chilling is that some Trump supporters will either say he does not lie or he is kidding or he is "human."

"The list of lies goes way back: Trump’s “birther” lie, that President Barack Obama was a foreign-born Muslim; Trump’s charge that Obama had ordered wiretaps on the phones of Trump’s transition team; his assertion that he saw Muslims in New Jersey celebrating 9/11.

The Post keeps track of Trump’s falsehoods. As of May 31, the president had made 3,251 false or misleading claims since taking office. And there are no signs of him slowing down."

3,251 "false or misleading claims" - what!

"“Why does he lie?” is a question many have tackled. I don’t know the answer. To accumulate and hold his grip on power? To bamboozle his supporters? To wiggle out of tight spots? The impact, nonetheless, is destructive. James P. Pfiffner, a public policy professor at George Mason University, wrote in a Brookings Institution blog that “Trump’s refusal to admit the truth of widely accepted facts corrodes political discourse and is consistent with the practice of many authoritarian leaders.” Trump’s narcissistic and demonstrably false statements about politics and policy, Pfiffner said, strike “at the very heart of democracy.”"

"

This was such a bizarre choice that I, and apparently a lot of other people on social media, checked numerous sources to confirm it was true before reacting because, really, who on earth would do that?

She did it.

According to a tweet by CNN’s Jim Acosta, a FLOTUS spokesperson confirmed the wardrobe choice, saying, that the fashion malfunction had “no hidden message” and hoped “the media isn’t going to choose to focus on her wardrobe.”"

Are they kidding?  Do the think we were focused on her wardrobe?  How dumb they must think America s to think the words meant nothing written on her back?  Does Trump's hate, oops!, I meant HAT, emblazoned with "Make America Great Again" mean nothing?  If we look at the hat are we focused on the wrong message?

Ludicrous!  Ridiculous!  Sad!  Silly!  Sarcastic!  BOGUS BS!

"Melania Trump was a fashion model. She, at least as much as anyone else, should understand the statement value of fashion. Indeed, I’m sure she does."

What might this mean?

"It projects a Marie Antoinette brand of cruelty that is, at the very least, clueless and unfortunate."
