Tactical tools like "fake news" must be used wisely to maintain their effectiveness.  Tweety has diminished his "fake news" tool to the point of embarrassing himself in public when he uses it.

Hannity  does a LOT of lying on his show, and makes a fool of himself and his followers constantly.  Fox Nws is becoming as fake as Tweety.

First, Hannity claimed the Times was “trying to distract you.” Probing viewers to think about other times the publication has “gotten it wrong,” Hannity reassured his audience that he had checked in with “many of his sources.”

“They’re not confirming that tonight.”

But he spoke too soon.

Just 40 minutes later, Hannity backtracked completely: “So we have sources tonight just confirming ... that, yeah, maybe Donald Trump wanted to fire the special counsel for conflict.”"

Of course Hannity then proceeded to justify his correction and then move to another attack on America's FBI.
