It is the THEATER OF THE ABSURD. Tweety wants "more" of something from Cuba, and lectures Cuba on Human Rights. Absurd!
Tweety's "policy," knee-jerk distraction, will fail because it truly has NO SUBSTANCE. Tweety doesn't care about Cuba one way or the other.
Tweety wants Americans to think he is doing work, but it isn't really work. The Cuba action is to make Americans look the other way while he blunders on through his silly Presidency.
Support from the Miami Herald, and Frank Calzon of USA Today.com for an action which will achieve nothing is almost childlike in its substance, or lack of intelligence or mature recognition of the real world. Just like the 55 years long embargo, Tweety's misguided action will only STRENGTHEN the Castro regime's strangled hold on the Cuban people, AGAIN.
Lack of American dollars from ANY SOURCE changed NOTHING in 55 years dear Mr. Calzone. Why do you think anything changes with Tweety's action? You aren't thinking clearly Frank, you are "thinking" emotionally.
There are many reasons to reach out to Cuba and the people of Cuba.
Cuban medicine for diseases are better than US, but due to the US embargo, US does not access the drugs that help Diabetics and inoperable Cancer patients.

Obama no doubt saw benefits to work with Cuba, like these medical breakthroughs. Tweety does not even know about these medical breakthroughs.
Tweety is an entertainer, and a devious man, a showman entertaining g himself in the White House . . . . A foolish, ignorant man, hurting 30,000,000 Americans with diabetes, risking amputations from a disease with a gimmicky attempt to get support and make Americans look away from his failing Administration.
Actually the United States record of Human Rights is not great or perfect in any case, but surely Americans recognize the hypocrisy in calling out Cuba on human rights, while Tweety holds hands with Saudi, China, Russia, Philippines, and Turkey! These are a partial list of countries Tweety has admired despite each of these country's very ugly human rights records.
If Tweety was consistent going after EVERY country with horrible human rights I could buy this decision. Tweety got a deal from Saudi Arabia, so he told them he would not lecture them on human rights. Then the sorry bastard signed a $110BILLION deal that will not bring jobs or money to America for 3-5 YEARS. Yes, folks, Tweety only signed a Letter of Intent, and deals like these take several YEARs to get into contract form, where jobs and money actually flow.
America, YOU were misled, but Tweety supporters are used to being misled, like sheep to slaughter.
"Transaction politics," absent American ideals, morals, looks very ugly. Saudi Arabia beheads (chop off heads!), stones, and whip men and women IN PUBLIC! Those of you saying that is OK, wait until it is your turn for what American values calls "cruel and inhumane punishment."
Are Americans ready to discard our morals and hues in exchange for making Tweety ultra-rich?
"Trump to unveil new Cuba travel restrictions in aim to slam regime's human rights record"
President Donald Trump's new policy is expected to restrict a common type of travel Americans use to visit Cuba.
Senior White House officials said the Cuban regime's human rights record is a key factor in the administration's reversal of what they called Obama's "appeasement."
The policy will aim to channel funds away from the Cuban military.

The human rights record of Saudi Arabia is very well known throughout the world, YET Tweety ignores it for the sake of a buck, jobs, publicity. Transaction politics at work.

"A SHOCKING new documentary will reveal the horrors of daily life inside Saudi Arabia.
Titled Saudi Arabia Uncovered, the ITV film aims to expose the brutal punishments dished out to those deemed to have broken the country’s strict Islamic laws.
At one point a woman accused of killing her stepdaughter is heard screaming “I didn’t do it” before she is beheaded in the street. Another clip shows five corpses strung up from a crane, The Sun reported."
Go look folks. You can watch the full video of a man chopping off a woman's head because her husband accused her of murdering her 7 year old daughter.
The Tweety Presidency is a stage show, nothing more. It is a sick show folks, rampant with cynical hypocrisy.
After 50+ years of sanctions against Cuba, Obama opened trade with Cuba. Tweety calls it a completely one-sided deal, and wants human rights? Tweety will not lecture Saudi Arabia on human rights, but he WIll demand better human rights changes from tiny, tiny, tiny Cuba. Embargo is on! OMG how selfish and foolish.
Why does Tweety, a completely UNLIKABLE bully, child-man, think (he doesn't think actually . . . ) HE (the Master Tweeter) can cause Cuba to do all the nice things he lists for human rights in Cuba? Tweety knows he will get no change in the Cuban Government. He is putting on a show! Again!
Tweety is a walking contradiction!

"Trump Reverses Pieces of Obama-Era Engagement With Cuba"
By JULIE HIRSCHFELD DAVISJUNE 16, 2017

"MIAMI — President Trump announced on Friday that he was reversing crucial pieces of what he called a “terrible and misguided deal” with Cuba and will reinstate travel and commercial restrictions eased by the Obama administration in an attempt to obtain additional concessions from the Cuban government.
During a speech in Little Havana, the epicenter of a Cuban exile community that enthusiastically supported him in last year’s election, Mr. Trump said he was keeping a campaign promise to roll back the policy of engagement begun by President Barack Obama in 2014, which he said had empowered the communist government in Cuba and enriched the country’s repressive military."
The rationale for this action is absurd.
"Moving to Scuttle Obama Legacy, Donald Trump to Crack Down on Cuba"

"“The idea that after 55 years of failure, going back to isolationist policies will produce any results is insane,” said James Williams, the president of Engage Cuba, a pro-engagement group."
Of course this is a joke, and Tweety just wants everyone to look the other way, again.
"Trump's Cuba Policy Will Fail"
The architect of Obama's Cuba opening argues that the president’s rollback is a pointless mistake.

"One of the most depressing things about President Donald Trump’s decision to roll back elements of the Cuba opening is how predictable it was. A Republican candidate for president makes last-minute campaign promises to a hard-line Cuban American audience in South Florida. Senator Marco Rubio and Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart hold him to those promises. The U.S. government announces changes that will hurt ordinary Cubans, harm the image of the United States, and make it harder for Americans to do business and travel somewhere they want to go."
Bottom line:
"Can anyone credibly argue that Trump’s Cuba policy is motivated by a commitment to promote human rights around the world?"
Nope. NO one can argue Tweety gives a flying f**k abut human rights ANYWHERE on planet Earth.
"By restricting engagement with large swaths of the Cuban economy controlled by the military, Trump is simultaneously demanding that Cuba embrace capitalism while making it harder for them to do so. "
"So what is gained by these actions? Trump will say he is promoting democracy, but the opposite is true. Cuba is going through its own leadership transition, with Raul Castro set to step aside later this year. What could have been an opportunity for the United States to support an evolution in Cuba’s system through engagement has now become an opportunity for hard-liners to tighten their grip on power."
